The MuseumsQuartier in Vienna’s city centre is a remarkable, 60 000 m² area with a selection of notable art galleries, museums, dance halls and design centres, including the Kunsthalle Wien, the Leopold Museum, the Tanzquartier Wien and the Designforum Wien. Since its opening in 2001, the MuseumsQuartier has offered a wide variety of programs and events, from performing arts, architecture, music, fashion, theater, dance, literature, and children’s culture to digital culture. With 9 permanent museums and exhibition halls, the MuseumsQuartier is one of the world’s largest complexes for modern art and culture.
